jShare - freedom of information

Goal

The goal of jShare is to develop an application and a corresponding infrastructure to make it easy to share files from one desktop to another within a limited group of people.

The idea is not to develop yet another p2p client to exchange file worldwide. Instead, the purpose of this tool is that each user can have a couple of "shared folders" which are shared within one room or one network.

This tool shall be easy to use and - as it's written in Java - platform independent.
